It was a remote place, far from the town, away from the bazaars where food was plentiful. Yet they came by the thousands—eager to hear the word, hungry for truth, lost souls seeking the way to eternal light.
He stood above the crowd, sharing words of guidance, hope, and truth for every man, woman, and child who had followed Him. They hung on His every word. But as the day wore on, their hunger grew—not just for truth, but for bread. His heart was moved with compassion. He could not bear to see them suffer the pangs of hunger.
He had nourished their souls, but He also cared for their bodies. In this act of mercy, He reflected the bounty of Almighty God, who provides sustenance for all His creatures. The miracle of the loaves and fishes was not just a sign of power—it was a reflection of divine mercy and provision.
How brokenhearted would the Prophet Jesus (PBUH) today, as he retraces his steps from ancient Palestine to the Palestine of now. What would he feel, witnessing the starvation of ordinary men, women, and children? How angered would he be by the injustice and cruelty, perhaps even more so than when he took up the whip and drove out the money changers from the temple—outraged at their contempt for the sanctity of God's house and their corruption of truth.
The land where Jesus once fed the hungry, healed the sick, and guided the lost has now become a place of torture, humiliation, and genocide. Where there was once love, hope, and compassion, now there is humiliation, starvation, and death. Where once lived tenderness, brotherhood, and forgiveness, now reside revenge, hatred, and misery.
Those who truly understand the message of Jesus—the message of love, mercy, and compassion—must awaken. They must condemn the modern-day Pharisees who abuse faith, using it as a cloak for their lust for power, status, and ambition.
Wake up, believers in truth, across the world.
See what God, in His glory, is revealing to the global community. To remain silent is to support oppression. To feed the oppressor is to empower him to claim more victims. This will not be the first, nor the last. Blood upon blood. Horror upon horror.
Wake up.
Make a stand.
Be counted.
Say no.
Walk in compassion, love, and concern for your fellow human beings. Walk with the prophets who spoke truth, even at great personal cost. Feed the poor, the orphan, and the widow.
Feed Palestine.
Free Palestine.
