History of Defiance and Faith
Tehran – September 1980
After the revolution, Iran was in chaos—its army dismantled, its government fractured. Saddam Hussein, armed and backed by both the US and the Soviet Union, invaded with confidence. His generals calculated that Tehran would fall in three days.
Yet Imam Khomeini dismissed Saddam as a “crazy man” and declared:
“There is nothing to be afraid of. We will put him back in his place. He will be destroyed.”
Beirut – September 2024
Israel launched the devastating pager operation, assassinating Hezbollah’s top commanders and initiating a ground assault. The Resistance seemed shattered. But Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and Sheikh Naim reassured their people:
“We will certainly be victorious!”
Tehran – June 2025
In a coordinated strike, Israel and the US targeted Iran’s military leadership, nuclear scientists, and air defences. Missile bases were bombed, and even political leaders were threatened. Yet the following morning, Ayatollah Khamenei declared:
“That regime has made a mistake, and we will bring them to ruin! Our victory is guaranteed.”
Why Such Certainty in Times of Crisis?
To the material eye, these moments should have ended in despair.
Why then do our leaders speak of victory instead of defeat?
Is it psychological warfare to calm the people?
Or is it rooted in a deeper, unseen reality?
Their certainty is not baseless—it comes from Divine Laws revealed in the Quran, which govern history and human struggle.
The First Law: God’s Help for His Cause
“God will surely help those who help His cause.”
(Quran, Surah al-Hajj, Chapter 22, The Pilgrimage, Verse 40)
Victory is not decided by numbers or weapons.
When believers stand firm with God, He is on their side.
“Twenty of you will overcome two hundred of them.”
This principle, as unchanging as the rising sun, assures that faith and steadfastness outweigh material superiority.
The Second Law: No Test Beyond Capacity
“God does not burden any soul beyond its capacity.”
(Quran, Surah al-Baqarah, Chapter 2, The Cow, Verse 286)
Every trial is proportionate to our ability.
Wars, invasions, and assassinations are not random—they are tests.
If they come to us, it means we have the power to overcome them. Even when believers feel incapable, God’s wisdom ensures that trials only draw out their hidden strength.
A Higher Vision of Struggle
Seen through the lens of materialism, defeat seems inevitable.
Seen through the lens of Divine Laws, every challenge is a step toward victory.
God’s laws are unchanging and eternal. Whoever strives on His path is encompassed by them. Sacrifices are inevitable, but the outcome is guaranteed.
As Haj Ramadan once said:
“Everything Satan has built throughout history is concentrated in Israel and the US. Fighting Israel means knocking down Satan himself!”
Conclusion
The promises of victory are not propaganda or empty words. They are rooted in a divine reality that transcends numbers, strategies, and worldly might.
For those blinded by materialism, such certainty appears irrational.
For those who see through the Quranic lens, it is the most realistic truth.
Victory is not a matter of if—but when.
