The lifestyle Of Poem - A Requiem For A Leader
Cross-Cultural Reverence in the Wake of February 28
By Sister Roberta
This poem serves as a profound cross-cultural tribute to the late Imam Khamenei, capturing the weight of his martyrdom on February 28, 2026. By utilising delicate imagery—the "white cotton voice" and "silk milk"—the author contrasts the harsh reality of war with a sense of spiritual serenity and divine protection (the "Shield of God"). The poem’s observation that "the battlefield is in our mind" takes on a deeper meaning in this context, suggesting that while physical leaders may be taken, the spiritual struggle and the "faith" the author sketches remain unshakeable. It is a powerful testament to how a leader's legacy can inspire a sense of "velvet gratitude" even from those outside his faith, uniting diverse voices in a shared moment of grief and contemplation.
The Lifestyle Of Poem
Will I find the words, to draw The Shield Of God?
To paint a poem in the shape of love with shades of grief
To sketch a poem in the form of tears with outlines of faith
To draw a poem in a spirit figure with undertones of the leader
Dark lines, curved letters , on a smooth blue sky, linen cloth
The leader is whispering with a white cotton voice
Facing a flat silver aquarela moon
Drinking silk milk with velvet honey
Why do we paint on an immaculate white canvas?
To write a poem
To draw a poem…
To calculate a poem
To Be a poem
The battle field, is in our mind!
Turn to God !
How dare I search for words to speak to you!
You never made yourself a highness,
Yet, I’m just the clay woman
saying : - I love you
I will do my best
It shall not be little.
Astafghirulah.
My leader, I come in colours of gratitude and introduce myself as a velvet cyan blue .
Imperfect lines
Raw geometry
Underscore in discipline.
So long is the way; can you see me?
I am this blue sketched arabesque!
The Scribe has long fingers ,white linen vests and a crystal cup filled with black ink.
A white feather traces perfect calligraphy, revealing the contours of God’s Shield.
I contemplate
In gratitude
