The days of mourning are upon us, and cry we shall,
But who and what shall we cry upon?
Will we lament the Master of Success because he was a victim?
Or shall we grieve our own lack of truthfulness and witness?
For God challenges us in Al-Hadid, that if we want a real reward and light,
As believers in Him and His Messengers,
Witnesses we shall be, whether in death or in life.
