• Among the believers are those who stayed true to the promise they made to God. Some have already given their lives, and others are still waiting. But they never wavered, never changed their commitment.

• To Him is your return—every one of you. That is God's true promise. He is the One who begins creation, and then brings it back again, so that He may repay those who believed and did good with perfect justice. But those who denied the truth will have scalding water to drink, and a painful punishment—because they used to reject the truth.

• They honour their vows, and they fear a Day whose hardship spreads far and wide. Out of love for God, they give food— to the poor, the orphan, and the captive— saying: ‘We feed you for the sake of God’s face alone. We want neither reward from you, nor gratitude.’
