The Extra Mile
This dua focuses on "Nawafil" (optional prayers). It asks that we be honoured with the ability to solve our spiritual "problems" and that our "Wasilah" (means of reaching God) be made close and accessible.
Arabic:
اَللّـهُمَّ وَفِّرْ حَظّي فيهِ مِنَ النَّوافِلِ، وَاَكْرِمْني فيهِ بِاِحْضارِ الْمَسائِلِ، وَقَرِّبْ فيهِ وَسيلَتي اِلَيْكَ مِنْ بَيْنِ الْوَسائِلِ، يا مَنْ لا يَشْغَلُهُ اِلْحاحُ الْمُلِحّينَ.
Transliteration:
Allahumma waffir hadhdhi fihi minan-nawafil, wa akrimni fihi bi-ihdharil-masa'il, wa qarrib fihi wasilati ilayka min baynil-wasa'il, ya Man la yash-ghaluhu ilhahul-mulihhin.
Translation:
O Allah, on this day, grant me a share in its optional prayers, honour me by attending to my problems, and make my means to You near among all means, O One who is not preoccupied by the requests of the beseechers.
