The Circle of Loyalty
In the Shia tradition, Tawalla (love for God's friends) and Tabarra (distancing from His enemies) are central. This dua asks for a heart that loves the Awliya and follows the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (S).
Transliteration:
Allahummaj'alni fihi muhibban li-awliya'ik, wa mu'adiyan li-a'da'ik, mustannan bisunnati khatami anbiya'ik, ya 'Asima qulubin-nabiyyin.
Translation:
O Allah, on this day, make me a lover of Your friends, and an enemy of Your enemies, following the Sunnah of the last of Your Prophets, O the Protector of the hearts of the Prophets.
