The Night of Destiny
This dua is often associated with the specific search for Laylatul Qadr. We ask for the "Fadhla" (virtue) of that night and for a miraculous shift in our life's trajectory—from "Usr" (difficulty) to "Yusr" (ease).
Transliteration:
Allahummar-zuqni fihi fadhla laylatil-qadr, wa sayyir umuri fihi minal-'usri ilal-yusr, waqbal ma'adhiri, wa hutta 'annidh-dhanba wal-wizr, ya Ra'ufan bi-'ibadihis-salihin.
Translation:
O Allah, on this day, bestow on me the blessings of Laylatul Qadr, change my affairs from difficulty to ease, accept my apologies, and decrease my sins and burdens, O the Compassionate with His righteous servants.
