The Shroud of Mercy
We ask to be "covered" in Mercy. This dua is about "I'smah" (protection/purity) and cleansing the heart from the "darkness of false accusations" or doubts that plague the mind.
Transliteration:
Allahumma ghash-shini fihi bir-rahmah, warzuqni fihit-tawfiqa wal-'ismah, wa tahhir qalbi min ghayahibit-tuhmah, ya Rahimam bi-'ibadihil-mu'minin.
Translation:
O Allah, on this day, cover me with Your mercy, grant me success and protection, and purify my heart from the darkness of false accusations, O the Merciful to His believing servants.
