The Anchor of Trust
We ask to be among the Mutawakkilin—those who rely entirely on God. It marks the end of the first third of the month, cementing our trust in Him as the ultimate goal.
Arabic:
اَللّـهُمَّ اجْعَلْني فيهِ مِنَ الْمُتَوَكِّلينَ عَلَيْكَ، وَاجْعَلْني فيهِ مِنَ الْفائِزينَ لَدَيْكَ، وَاجْعَلْني فيهِ مِنَ الْمُقَرَّبينَ اِلَيْكَ، بِاِحْسانِكَ يا غايَةَ الطّالِبينَ.
Transliteration:
Allahummaj'alni fihi minal-mutawakkilina 'alayk, waj'alni fihi minal-fa'izina ladayk, waj'alni fihi minal-muqarrabina ilayk, bi-ihsanika ya Ghayatat-talibin.
Translation:
O Allah, on this day, make me among those who rely on You, from those who You consider successful, and from those who are near to You, by Your favour, O the goal of the seekers.
