The Grand Integration
The final dua asks for the fast to be accepted in a way that pleases the Prophet (S). It uses a beautiful metaphor: “branches being strengthened by the roots.” It asks that the small actions of this month become rooted in a deep, unshakeable faith.
Transliteration:
Allahummaj'al siyami fihi bish-shukri wal-qabuli 'ala ma tardhahu wa yardhahur-rasul, muhkamatam-furu'uhu bil-usul, bihaqqi sayyidina Muhammadin wa alihit-tahirin, wal-hamdu lillahi Rabbil-'alamin.
Translation:
O Allah, on this day, make my fasts worthy of appreciation and acceptance, according to what pleases You and the Messenger, the branches being strengthened by the roots, for the sake of our leader Muhammad and his pure family, and praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
